Silent Auction
Check back frequently to see and bid on items donated for the silent auction. As items are donated, they will be listed on this page. If you would like to bid on an item before the benefit walk, send an email to jpolston@indepmo.org and your bid will be entered on the item's bid sheet. Bidding will take place online through 5/6/11. Auction items will be displayed before the benefit walk on 5/7/11 from 8-10:30 am on the Independence Square near the walk registration booth at Maple and Liberty Street. As the walk begins, auction items will be moved to McCoy Park, where bidding will continue. New items will be added as they are received and not all items will be listed on the website, as they may be received too late to be listed. Winners will be announced at 2 pm on 5/7/11 at McCoy Park near the Silent Auction Booth. Winners will be notified that they have won and need not be present to win. Items must be paid for and picked up from the Independence Animal Shelter by 5/16/2011.
The success of this auction depends on you. All money raised will be used to pay for spay and neuter surgeries for pets in need. Please bid generously and thank you for your support!
Items Available for Bidding
To place a bid, send an email to jpolston@indepmo.org. Include your name, address, email address, phone number, the Item number and the amount of your bid. You will receive a confirmation email accepting your bid and assigning you a user ID #. Your user ID # will be posted as the current high bidder under the item, to allow you to monitor the item and know if you have been out-bid. Please realize that when we receive your bid, we may have also received a higher bid from another bidder. Check back frequently to monitor the status of your bid and to view new items.
