Tails on the Trail

Join us for the 1st Annual Tails on the Trail benefit walk on Saturday, May 7, 2011, presented by the Petco Foundation.  Events will run from 8 am - 3 pm, starting on the historic Independence Square in conjunction with Harry Truman's Birthday Celebration.  Chris Cakes will serve an all-you-can eat pancake breakfast from 8-10 am for a minimum $5 donation.  Registration will begin at 9 am with the walk will beginning at 11 am.  The one-mile walk will end at McCoy Park where many activities are planned.  Money raised will pay for spay and neuter surgeries for families and pets in need in the Independence area.  Check out the website for a complete list of events.  Don't delay; register today and support spaying and neutering!
